Dave in the Life pt. 1

So David Cole lives in Angwin California. Its a small town in the napa valley. He recently was forced to relocate from my couch in San Diego due to a lack of a job, lack of funds and some injuries which may have increased his desire to rage and not skate as much as he could have. Since DC came to SD the boy i grew up with known as david became the man San Diego knows as Dave who then became the maniac some now know as Crave.

Since his relocation back to the napa valley David/Dave/Crave has been on it! He's mellowed out, he's got a job, and he skates everyday. David is also always a blast to hang out with !

I decided to show up at his house and film what he does on a daily basis since he's been back home. This is what i put together.

I thought i was just going to get a 3 minute montage of skating, his hill bomb, and everything in between, but what i ended up putting together was a little bit more. Here's part one of three.

john lupfer leftovers

John's got the first part in the shuffl video and its a banger! He even had a bunch of footy leftover that i put together for this little edit. John's also a huge gangstarr fan, and even though koston already used this song back in the day, i had to put his skating to a couple verses from "now youre mine."

Major fs AIR

I spent a couple days in the east bay with ryan harris and the 510 crew. If you're ever lucky enough to see Major Jones in action, be prepared to witness one of the best styles in skateboarding. Watch out for Major in the future, he'll be killing it! Here he eases through a first try fs air at the berkeley park.

Jake Smith

Jake is one of the first skate homies i met when i came to san diego four years ago. He was working at utility and shredding his brains out every time he had a day off. Now he's the assistant team manager for volcom and getting the full time job hasn't slowed down his skating abilities. On the contrary, i'm pretty sure they've improved his skills. When i asked jake for some tricks for the montage, he send me a whole part worth of footy. Here all of it is, including the bangers that closed out the homie montage in the video. Jake is a true SHUFFL affiliate and he may be one of the gnarliest TM's in the biz.

austin's re-edit!

Here is a re-edit of Austin Kanfoush's banging last part in the SHUFFL video. This was last week's sk8mafia saturday, and the dude fucking kills it! if you ever get a chance to shred with this maniac, you'll be blessed with watching ATV ripping and a cardiel-esque personality that beams with positivity and over all HYPED-ness. Look out for austin in the future, he kills it. He rides for axion shoes, sk8mafia, OJ wheels, and one up boardshop! Toast one to pittsburgh for austin! For all yinz
